You will study and master topics including:

You must successfully complete the following performance-based exercises:
• Swim 400 meters nonstop
• Tread water for 15 minutes (last 2 minutes hands out of the water)
• Swim 800 meters using mask, snorkel & fins (face down, nonstop)
• Tow or push a fully equipped diver 100 meters at the surface
• Equipment exchange with a buddy (excluding suit & weights) in confined water, sharing a single regulator

Course Prerequisites

To enroll in the PADI Divemaster Course, you must:
• Be a PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent)
• Be at least 18 years old
• Have completed Emergency First Response (CPR & First Aid) within the last 24 months
• Provide a medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months
• Have at least 40 logged dives to start the course
• Have 60 logged dives to earn certification
